The Cycroft.com group of Web sites is published and edited by blogger and photographer, Russell (Russ) Campbell. As you may have already noticed, these Web pages are mainly about photography and politics, however, we do cover a wider range of technology subjects in our photography blog and other social issues and events in our political blog.I was born Russell Garth Ramsey Campbell on the West Indian island of Jamaica, and moved to Canada while still a teenager. After a career during which I was at different times a chief financial officer, a chief information officer, a chief operating officer and a consultant, I “discovered” photography.
Other interests include information technology, politics, birding, family research, creative writing and sports, and so you can expect that we’ll eventually cover these areas in one way or another on Cycroft.com.
I now live at Burlington, Ontario, Canada with my wife, Denisé, and spend my time photographing nature and blogging as a conservative who believes that common sense and independent thinking trump political dogma — hakuna matata.
