Yes, Phil, the Collared-Dove, which is native to Asia and Europe, has also been introduced in North America and been sighted recently in Ontario, where this photograph was taken.
The Mourning Dove is much more common here, is slightly smaller and has a black spot on the side of its face, so I think this one is a Mourning dove.
That is so like our Collared Dove. Do you get those too?
